The greatest care and attention is given to each and every order here at Bugtussle Burn, so you can place your orders with confidence. Our aim is to please, folks!

Substitutions

In our baskets, we try to always have our awesome Texas-Made products and other basket items on hand; however, our suppliers sometimes can't meet our needs due to seasonal issues. We reserve the right to substitute similar products of equal or greater value in our baskets, but only if we must. Please trust that we'll make your basket up with lots of TLC and it'll be great!

But far as Bugtussle Burn salsa or other gear goes, now that can never be substituted!

Gift Basket Custom Orders

We are happy to customize baskets just for you! So if you'd like to make a substitution or an addition, please let us know via e-mail or by phone. We will contact you with a price on your request ASAP! Custom orders will begin as soon as full payment is verified through PayPal.

Texas-Sized Orders

We don't ever want our customers to be disappointed, so please contact us prior to placing a large order (or a humongous order, or a big 'ole honker of an order). Large orders will begin as soon as full payment is verified through PayPal.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship via USPS & UPS Ground to the Continental USA to street addresses. (That includes Alaska, Hawaii and District of Columbia, folks!) Military packages to FPO & APO addresses, and packages to Alaska & Hawaii ship only via USPS.

Our site is pretty dang smart, so it figures your shipping cost based on the weight and the destination of your purchase, and we DON'T add any hateful, dreaded handling fees, cuz that's just not Texas-friendly! You can also choose more expedited services if ya' need 'em.

We ship Monday through Friday only.

Orders placed during regular office hours (9a-5p) go out within 48 hours on a business day. Orders placed on weekends and on holidays will go out within 48 hours on the next business day.

Packages usually arrive within 2 - 5 business or working days after shipping (only in the USA and depending on the UPS shipping zone delivery time from Texas…some of 'em are 5-10 days).

If you need your order to arrive by a particular day for a birthday or other special occasion, please let us know! If the package needs to be sent Next Day Air or 2 Day Air we can arrange this, but the speedy shipping charge will apply instead of the standard UPS ground or USPS standard rates. Also, there will be a handling charge for orders needing to be zapped within 24 hours (instead of 48)…but it's only $10 so not too bad!

If you ship your package to a hotel, convention or other event, NOTE THIS: The package MUST be called for in the shipping dept. of the hotel! Generally those darn hotels WON'T make an effort to deliver the package. SO, if you're shipping a gift package shipped to a hotel, ya MUST get the guest to request the package! Now that ya know the risks of shipping to a hotel, if ya still choose to do so, we will only be responsible for the delivery of the package to the hotel, but not for a second pickup and / or its redelivery charges, as it's out of our dang control at that point.

If your package needs to be reshipped because of an incorrect address or other circumstances not our fault (“I didn't do it, Ma!), the second shipping expense will be charged to you at cost. Generally, UPS charges $10.00 for an address correction or package intercept if it's in the same area it was originally shipped.

If your package arrives damaged, please write so ON the delivery slip and contact us immediately within 2 days of receipt. For gift baskets, if the basket is broken we'll send ya a new one and issue a pick up ticket for the original broken basket. Shipments going UPS are insured so please keep all packing materials and the box and wait for the pickup ticket. DON'T ship anything back without a prior return approval or without receiving this pickup ticket…that way you don't spend any more of your hard-earned money!

For all other, non-damaged goods, all sales are final upon 2 days after receipt.
